Our friend at Alternate Universes has opened up a third store. This store is in the home of tax free shopping DE. Click "Games Sales" in "Links" for full details.
Beginning Saturday, MARCH 27, EPGS has been invited by 7th Dimension Games, a
game store located in Roslyn, PA, to hold a satellite meeting of the club the
fourth Saturday of every month. The store opens at 10AM and closes at 10PM on
Saturday; we are welcome there the entire time. There will be other groups in
the store for various specific games, but with a seating capacity of 55, it
looks like there will be enough room for us. You can find out more about the
store by going to the following website:
http://www.7thdimen
EPGS members will get an additional 5% off of purchases in addition to the
frequent buyer program for the store.
If you can make this meeting, it's a great way to support both the club and a
local game store.
EPGS is a club dedicated to the play of games, primarily boardgames, but you will also find miniatures and card games played here with some collectible card games, and the the occasional role-playing game.
Because of Oxford Valley Mall's rent increase to $150/session, EPGS dues are now $25 per year. For new members the first meeting is free and the first year $20.
What do you get for your dues?
A membership card that is good for discounts at certain local hobby stores.
A newsletter that keeps you up on events at the club and lists the games we've been playing.
A place for playtesting that game you want to design, or to playtest the projects of others.
A yahoogroups forum for organizing games at our outside the meetings, or to buy, sell, and trade games.
A group of fellow enthusiasts who can teach you new games or play old favorites.
Okay, you're interested, but what's next?
Just show up at one of our meetings and bring games if you want. Take a look around, and kibitz, or jump right in and play. It's really that simple. If you want, contact one of our officers for more information, or check out our interests page. Once you join, check out the members page and join the newsgroups to receive further information about the club and its members.
Important Update from the July 18, 2009 meeting:
(1) NEW PAYMENT OPTIONS: Along with the standard $25/year membership we are offering the following options:* Pay per meeting: For members who can only make a few meetings per year, you can pay $5 at each meeting you attend.
* Prorated memberships: $15 will provide you with membership for the rest of the 2009 calendar year.
Please note: your first meeting is still free!
