EPGS Heroics - April 2004
Come to the Meeting this Saturday, April 17th, in the Community Room of the Oxford Valley Mall.
The tentative 2004 EPGS Schedule:
April 17, May 1 & 15, June 5 & 19, July 3 & 24*, August 7 & 24
Planned for: the 1st & 3rd Sat every month thereafter (subject to change!)
* Note - the second meeting in July is one week later than usual due to scheduling conflicts.
The Mall does not schedule events as far ahead as we do, so parts of this schedule may be subject to change. You will be informed as early as possible of any changes.
Gaming from 9:30 AM - 9:30 PM!
A Note from the President
EPGS has no set time at which we "must" vacate the community room, but we
must all exercise common sense in not ruining our current tenant status. The Mall starts closing down at 9:30 PM, usually brought to our attention by the fact that the bathrooms are locked at that time. There should not be any new games started that cannot be completed by this time. We have some leeway in finishing games, but generally, by the time the teenagers have been cleared from the mall, we should all have left as well. 10 PM has been fine so far, but I don't believe any of us is justified in trying to "push the envelope". Just because you may have been allowed to once does not mean it's a good idea. It would be a shame if a few members jeopardized the club's existence. We all need to encourage each other to pack up and get out by 9:30 PM, regardless of whether you need one more turn or not.
Hoping we can all enjoy EPGS for years to come,
Bob Hranek
A Request from the Editor
Believe it or not, I may not be able to make it to this Saturday's meeting. This could result in loss of database integrity. I would appreciate it if someone would volunteer to track the games played at the meeting. I need the title, publisher and number of times each game is played. I thank you and the database thanks you.
