EPGS Heroics - July 2004
REMEMBER - there is no meeting this weekend. Come to the meeting NEXT Saturday, July 24th, in the Community Room of the Oxford Valley Mall.
The tentative 2004 EPGS Schedule:
July 24*, Aug 7&21, Sep 4&25*, Oct 2&16, Nov 6&20, Dec 4&18, Jan 8&22
Planned for: the 1st & 3rd Sat every month thereafter (subject to change!)
* Meetings rescheduled due to conflicts with mall events.
The Mall does not schedule events as far ahead as we do, so parts of this schedule may be subject to change. You will be informed as early as possible of any changes.
Gaming from 10:00 AM - 9:30 PM!
A Note from your President...
I have Good News and Not-So-Bad News, please read it all...
First, the Good News, EPGS is A-OK for the following schedule:

It turns out the new rental rates only apply to businesses that use the community room, like the fashion shows that sometimes bump EPGS to the next Saturday.
Now, for the rest of the story...
The short version is that we all need to be on our best behavior in order to continue having our club. Our new lease specifies 10 AM - 9:30 PM, so don't have a fit if the room's not ready before 10 AM and simply pack up and leave once the mall is closed.
The lease prohibits alcohol & firearms, so everyone (including me) will have to leave their cough syrup and howitzers at home. Honestly, if you need cough syrup, then we don't want you spreading your sickness to the rest of us anyway!
Our lease also specifically prohibits gambling. Given that America is run by lawyers, please don't even joke about betting on any of our games – EPGS can't afford any "misunderstandings" with people that may hear something our members say out of context.
That's the short and the long of it, our dues stay $5 per calendar year, 'nuff said.
