EPGS Heroics - October 2004
Come to the EPGS meeting this Saturday, October 16th, in the Community Room of the Oxford Valley Mall.
The tentative 2004 EPGS Schedule:
Oct 16, Nov 6&20, Dec 4&18, Jan 8&22
Planned for: the 1st & 3rd Sat every month thereafter (subject to change!)
The Mall does not schedule events as far ahead as we do, so parts of this schedule may be subject to change. You will be informed as early as possible of any changes.
Gaming from 10:00 AM - 9:30 PM!
Speaking of Voting for New Presidents...
It's been another great 18 months, so it must be time for EPGS Elections.
After 3 years as your Totalitarian Treasurer and another 3 years as your President, I am stepping down to get more active in my kids' school programs. Steve Cameron has graciously offered to resume the burden of EPGS command.
Randall MacInnis, our 21st Century CPA, has volunteered to keep our treasury safe from those scallywags in Pirate's Cove - Arrrggghhh!!!
Don Myers has agreed to keep our www.EPGS.org website maintained with the latest schedule updates, news, and whatever else the club decides to post.
Mike Fisher has agreed to continue on as Publicity Director
After 5 years of excellent service, Dave Bohnenberger is stepping down as our Editor and game-tracker. His bi-monthly distribution not only informed us upcoming meetings and important club news, but also served to let prospective members know the kinds of games we usually play (they're posted on the website too). I am asking for volunteers willing to continue this helpful service. Dave will guide you through the transition.
Here's your chance to speak up and be heard. You can volunteer for any role in October. Presuming we have contested positions, we'll vote in November - just like the rest of the country. Announcements and Celebrations will occur in December - maybe at PhilCon (www.PhilCon.org), Dec 10-12.
